This is me! I am the Little Shutter Bug. If you see me
running around a convention or major event in Dallas, or anywhere else
my mom takes me, don't be shy! I will take your picture.
Heck you may not even know that I have taken your picture. I'm
only 6 years old, and actually asking someone to pose at this point is
beyond me. I have atendency to point and click.Believe it or not, I have been to 7 A-Kons and several other conventions in and around Dallas. Last year at A-Kon 14, mommy gave me 8 disposable cameras to take all the pictures I wanted. After using all 8 the first day, she went out and got me some more. This year she was smart and got me my own Sony Mavica. Mommy thought that with all the 3.5 floppy disks running around her house, a Sony Mavica would be the best type of camera to get. I just graduated Kindergarden. I will be starting First grade in August. I had a blast at A-Kon 15, and I am already planning for next year. Meanwhile, I will be posting the next convention I am going to be at. Hope to see you there and I hope I take your picture! NOTE FROM WEB DIVA (AKA Mommy): Before I get several emails from people asking me "how can you let her run around with a Sony Mavica?" Its very simple. Last year at A-Kon 14, she went through 13, 27 shot disposable cameras at $5.50 each. Processing the film came to approximately $150.00. 13 x $5.50 = $ 71.50 + $150.00 = $221.50. Buying the Mavica from eBay $190 with shipping. No developing the film, cause there is no film. I just fix the picture, add them to the templates I built for her page and load! I saved time and money this year. And she doesn't run around alone. There is usually me or her Grandmother following close behind her. |
